Privacy Policy – Nos

1. Who we are and what this policy covers

This privacy policy explains how the Nos application ("the App"), an exam preference wizard published by AssetBox, handles information when you use it. Data controller: Emre Balli (AssetBox). If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the App.

2. Data we collect (third-party services)

The App does not require an account, and we do not directly collect your name, email address, or other information that identifies you. We use a limited set of third-party services to operate, improve, and monetize the App:

• Firebase Analytics: collects anonymized usage data (such as screen views and feature usage) to help us understand how the App is used.
• Firebase Crashlytics: collects crash reports and device diagnostics to improve stability and fix bugs.
• Google AdMob: displays ads in the App and may collect device identifiers, approximate location, and usage information for ad delivery, frequency capping, fraud prevention and, where you have consented, ad personalization.
• RevenueCat: manages in-app purchases and subscriptions and processes purchase receipts issued by Apple or Google. We do not receive or store your payment card details.

3. Third-party services and their policies

The processing performed by these providers is governed by their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review. We are not responsible for the data practices of third parties:

• Google Privacy Policy (AdMob, Firebase)
• RevenueCat Privacy Policy
• Apple App Store and Google Play terms applicable to purchases

4. Advertising and consent

The App is ad-supported. Where required by applicable law (for example the GDPR in the EU/EEA or KVKK in Türkiye), you will be asked for consent before personalized ads are served; if consent is not given, non-personalized ads may be shown instead. You can limit ad tracking at any time through your device settings (for example "Allow Apps to Request to Track" on iOS or "Delete advertising ID" on Android).

5. Data retention and security

The limited data described above is retained by the respective service providers in accordance with their own retention policies. We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the data; however, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. International data transfers

The third-party providers listed above may process data on servers located in other countries, including the United States. Where required, such transfers rely on appropriate safeguards implemented by those providers, such as standard contractual clauses.

7. Children

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the higher minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided personal data through the App, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

8. Legal basis and your rights (GDPR / KVKK / CCPA-CPRA)

Where applicable, our legal bases for processing are: our legitimate interest in providing, securing, and improving the App (analytics and crash diagnostics), the performance of a contract (subscription management), and your consent (personalized advertising, where required).

Depending on your jurisdiction (for example, GDPR in the EU, KVKK in Türkiye, CCPA/CPRA in California), you may have the following rights: access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and the right to object to processing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (in Türkiye, the Personal Data Protection Authority).

9. About the information shown in the App

The exam, program, and preference-related information presented in the App is compiled from publicly available third-party and secondary sources. It is not official data, and we make no representation or warranty as to its accuracy, completeness, or timeliness. The only authoritative sources are the official publications of the relevant official institutions and examination authorities. Please see our Terms of Service for the full disclaimer; we accept no responsibility for decisions made based on the information in the App.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page, and for material changes we will provide reasonable notice where required by law. Your continued use of the App after a change takes effect indicates your acknowledgment of the updated policy. The current version is always available at https://asset-box.com/privacy/nos.
