Terms of Service – Nos

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Nos application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and the End User License Agreement (EULA) contained in them. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Nos is an exam preference wizard: an informational tool designed to help you explore exam, program, and placement-related information and organize preference lists. The App is provided for general informational and organizational purposes only.

3. Informational Purposes Only – No Advice

IMPORTANT: The App is not an official guidance, counseling, or advisory service, and nothing in the App constitutes educational, career, legal, or any other kind of professional advice.

• All information in the App is compiled from publicly available third-party and secondary sources; it is not obtained from, verified by, or affiliated with any official institution or examination authority.
• The information may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate, and may change at any time without notice.
• The only authoritative and accurate sources are the official publications and announcements of the relevant official institutions and examination authorities. You must verify all information (including dates, requirements, quotas, scores, and program details) from official sources before making any preference, application, or placement decision.
• Any preference list, suggestion, ranking, or other output generated by the App is provided for convenience only and does not constitute a recommendation.
• We accept no responsibility whatsoever for your preference or application decisions, placement outcomes, missed deadlines or applications, or any other consequence of relying on the App.

4. Data Accuracy Disclaimer

While we strive to keep the information in the App useful:

• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data in the App.
• Quotas, score thresholds, rankings, program details, dates, and requirements may be changed or discontinued by the relevant authorities at any time.
• You are solely responsible for independently verifying all information from official sources before acting on it.

5. Premium Subscriptions

The App may offer optional premium subscriptions that unlock additional features and/or remove ads. Subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and managed via RevenueCat.

• Pricing is displayed in the store at the time of purchase and may vary by region.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings; uninstalling the App does not cancel your subscription.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their respective policies.

6. Advertising

The App displays third-party advertisements served via Google AdMob. We do not endorse and are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of advertisers, or of any website or service you access through an ad.

7. User Conduct

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes. You are solely responsible for:

• Ensuring your use complies with all applicable laws and regulations.
• All preference, application, and placement decisions you make.
• Verifying information with the relevant official institutions before relying on it.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App and all information in it are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.

9. Third-Party Services

The App uses third-party services including Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, Google AdMob, and RevenueCat. Your use of the App is also subject to the terms and privacy policies of these services, and we are not responsible for their acts or omissions.

10. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, and intellectual property in the App are the property of Emre Balli, AssetBox, or their licensors. Third-party names and trademarks referenced in the App belong to their respective owners; they are used for identification purposes only and do not imply any affiliation or endorsement.

11. End User License Agreement (EULA)

Subject to these terms, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. This license:

• Does not grant you any ownership of the App.
• Prohibits copying, modifying, distributing, selling, or leasing any part of the App.
• Prohibits reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to extract the source code of the App.
• Prohibits use of the App for illegal purposes.
• May be terminated at any time if you violate these terms.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all liability for any damages arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the App, including but not limited to:

• Preference, application, or placement decisions and their outcomes.
• Losses or harm resulting from inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or delayed information.
• Missed deadlines, applications, or opportunities.
• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Where liability cannot be fully excluded under applicable law, our total aggregate liability shall be limited to the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim or, if no payment was made, to the minimum amount permitted by law.

13. Termination and Availability

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time for any reason, including violation of these terms.

We do not guarantee the continued availability of the App. We may, at our sole discretion and at any time, modify, suspend, limit, or discontinue the App or any of its features, in whole or in part, temporarily or permanently, and we may cease distributing, supporting, or making the App available through any or all app stores or in any region, with or without notice. We will not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, suspension, limitation, withdrawal, or discontinuation of the App.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. The current version is always available at https://asset-box.com/terms/nos.

15. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the App is distributed, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Nothing in these terms limits any mandatory rights you may have under the consumer protection laws of your country of residence.
