GuestList is a wedding and event planning application that helps you organize your guest lists, track RSVPs, and manage events. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about the data we collect and how we use it.

2. Premium Subscriptions

GuestList offers premium subscriptions that unlock advanced features to enhance your event planning experience:

• Monthly Premium: Access to unlimited guest lists, multiple events, unlimited groups, custom themes, and PDF/Excel export functionality with monthly billing.
• Yearly Premium: Same benefits as Monthly Premium with annual billing at a discounted rate.

Trial Period

We may offer free trial periods for premium subscriptions. Trial periods are only available for first-time users. Once you have used a trial period, it will not be available again for subsequent subscriptions or account changes.

How to Access Premium Features

You can access premium subscriptions in the app through the settings or upgrade prompts. All purchases are processed and managed entirely by Apple App Store or Google Play Store, depending on your device platform.

No login required. No additional configuration is required. All purchases are handled via Apple Subscriptions or Google Play Billing and are subject to their respective terms and conditions.

Pricing and Billing

Pricing for subscriptions is displayed in the App Store / Google Play Store at the time of purchase and may vary by region.

Subscription Renewal and Cancellation

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings (for iOS) or Google Play account settings (for Android) after purchase.

3. Data Collection and Usage

We use third-party services to help us understand how the app is used and to improve your experience:

• Firebase Analytics: We collect anonymous usage data to analyze app performance, user engagement, and feature usage patterns. This helps us improve the app and understand which features are most valuable to our users.
• Firebase Crashlytics: We collect crash reports and diagnostics to improve app stability, identify bugs, and fix technical issues. This helps us ensure a reliable experience for all users.
• RevenueCat: We use RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases and subscriptions. RevenueCat may collect purchase and subscription data as required to process payments and manage your subscription status. This data is used solely for transaction processing and subscription management.
• Expo SDK: The app is built using Expo, which may collect anonymous usage statistics and performance data to improve the development framework.

4. Local Data Storage

GuestList stores your event planning data locally on your device:

• Guest Lists: All guest information, including names, contact details, and any notes you add, is stored locally on your device.
• Event Information: Your events, including dates, locations, and event details, are stored locally on your device.
• RSVP Data: Attendance status and RSVP tracking information is stored locally on your device.
• Groups and Categories: Custom groups and organizational categories you create are stored locally on your device.
• App Preferences: Your theme preferences and app settings are stored locally on your device.

Important: GuestList does not collect, store, or transmit your guest lists, event data, or any personal information you enter into the app. All data remains on your device and is never sent to our servers or any third parties. This data is deleted when you uninstall the app.

5. Data Export

Premium users can export their guest lists as PDF or Excel files. When you export data:

• The export is generated locally on your device
• Exported files are saved to your device or shared via your device's sharing capabilities
• We do not receive, store, or process any exported data
• You are responsible for the security and privacy of exported files

7. Children's Privacy

While we do not collect your personal event data, we take the security of anonymous usage data seriously. All data transmission is encrypted using industry-standard protocols. Since your guest lists and event data are stored locally on your device, you are responsible for the security of your device and any backups you create.

9. Data Retention

All guest lists, events, and related data are stored on your device and remain there until you delete them or uninstall the app. Anonymous analytics data collected through Firebase may be retained according to Firebase's data retention policies.

10. Your Rights

Since all your personal data (guest lists, events, RSVP data) is stored locally on your device and never transmitted to us:

• You have complete control over your data
• You can delete any data at any time through the app
• You can export your data using the premium export features
• Uninstalling the app will delete all local data

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this policy. Your continued use of the app after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
